The fact I need two for my long term project car at Brothers garage.
He tells me tonight they are both (naughty word here).
Can I repair these or are they a replacement only job, they are if any help full of Oil or Crud.
Oh the joys of getting a Petrol Car.

I still love this marque and I will still be around, preferred selling to breaking, as a great runner and performer"

If I have a pair ready I can swap them there and then but balance ones are a royal pain due to the oil ingress, so I may have to take them with me.

Yeah, I've forgotten which one is which. The rearmost motor on ours now appears not to be working.
It's also, of course, the difficult one to get to 'cos of the LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas) installation and why could it not have failed a few weeks ago before I had the manifold off?
I don't like signatures, they take up too much screen space.

ok if the balance gives you that bit extra at about 3000 rpm what purpose does the power vis give to the car , as mine is not working ........

Its quite a complex operation it depends on revs and throttle position.

Generally with both working you obtain a smoother delivery of power, arond with a boost predominately from the balance Vis @ 3100 and a second surge from the power one around 4500

As you all know, I never drive above 3000 rpm,
so that's why I hadn't noticed any difference. :gmc:
