I drove along a local dual-carriageway this morning and noticed that the little ladder symbol did not show up IIRC i did read somewhere that the system was due to be turned off so is it now the case?

Is the Traffic Master system now 'dead'? by Tootall
On the weekend 29th June I was in the area of Heathrow & M4 and it was working then. But this weekend I went up the M6 to Wigan and nothing seemed tocome up. My satnav did warn about a delay at Junctions 26 to 27 but TMC was quiet.
I'm pretty certain it's being switched off a bit at a time. A few weeks ago the M6 J1 to about J4 seemed dead, but then up to J10 was OK. Now the bit I use from J16 to J15 seems dead though the A500 that is in the same area is still working. So I reckon by Christmas it will be all but gone.
Usually get a bit of info on the A303, but not a Peep for the last couple of days 
Got one for Me , Then one for her, and now a big one for me again, All BLOO! Well saves on the touch up paint, Now Number one son's Spoilt it all by getting a Firefrost 1.8T

it has snuffed it around the a11 on the run in to cambridge .shame after it took me a while to find the system in the first place then to get total ipk failure when trying to connect it.turns the plugs where not in fully .in short a lot of work for nowt.,stil it was nice while it lasted

Daft question, as I'm no electronics expert, but if it is being turned off, has anyone ever tried to convert one of these so it works with TMC instead?

It is still reducing but by bit. A34 in Stone is now dead too.
