Hi everyone

I have my egr off, how much force should be needed to open it? It is mighty stiff.

It takes a lot of pressure to open, from what you've said it appears normal. ;)
(well as "normal" as possible with an EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve) whatever that is)

It should'nt be easy to open, the spring has to be quite strong otherwise the pressure of the exhaust gasses would force the valve open. ;)
