Are all PCI cards the same as we have a main PC (running Vista) which at the moment is connected to our BT homehub 2 via a pair of Comtrend Powerline adapters, we are thinking of getting our eldest hooked up to Xbox live for xmas so he will need the adapter upstairs.
So my question is will any old/cheap PCI card work or are there ones on the market which work better with the homehubs ? (BTW the PC is in the same room as the hub)

Won't the Xbox just connect to your Homehub with wifi?

It will but you need a wireless adapter

The new 'slim' 360 was a built-in wi-fi but the original ones need either a dongle @ £60 or a cable. Hence the question regarding a wireless card for the PC.

I see.

What about getting an additional Comtrend adapter? I assume it's possible to network more than two. They're available on Ebay fairly cheap.
