For the last couple of years Ive organised a christmas dinner for the Yorkies, but decided this year to extend the invitation a little further afield, Once there is a list of interested people I will find sonewhere thats central to everyone, now I know we,re just into October, but places have already started taking bookings and I normally book it the end of October, I always book somewhere with accomodation available at the venue or within walking distance so people that want to have a Christmas sherry or two can do it without worrying about getting taxis,
There is always a great atmosphere at these occasions and everyone has fun, and a little birdy tells me if your good girls and boys you will get a present from santa this year,so anyone thats interested please put your name down
If this would be better in meets can a mod please move it thank you xx

Can't think that far ahead at the moment Heather. Depends on Mother's short and medium term reaction to, and care requirements following, Father's death but if things ease up, I'd be interested :)

Is this not a breach of Community Rule 25/12 ?

The C word should not be mentioned until after January 1st, :panic:

Would there be sprouts with the dinner? :-|
Last year we didn't get sprouts. :o
You have to have sprouts with Christmas dinner.
I like sprouts. 8-)
I don't like signatures, they take up too much screen space.

I think we,ll have to let this year pass by without a yorkie Christmas dinner, as there is not a lot of interest, Ill take Tim to Ibiza for a couple of weeks instead,
It would have to have been held this month anyway, but as Tim is going in for surgery 19th November, and will be off work for 4 weeks, Im planning on taking him away roundabout 4th Dec, a horrid journey as hes not allowed to fly,
from here to London on train on 4th,
leaving London on 4th to Paris
5th Leaving Paris to Barcelona on overnight train arriving 8.30am
leave Barcelona at 10,30 that night on overnight Ferry
arriving Ibiza 7am.
stay there for 9 days
then coming home same journey in reverse, yuck
but at least it will be 2 weeks that he wont be sat at home moaning I,M BORRREEDDDDDDDDD
