I have a door card and other items to ship to a member in Australia....my problem is the Royal Mail want to charged by volumetric weight...which works out well over 20kg! The actual items come to roughly 6kg...but will make up a box of about 90 cm by 66cm by 20 cm....prices seem astronomical to send this...anyone got any ideas?

Have you looked at Interparcel Carl?

I have some OEM xenon headlights to send to Oz sometime soon.

Speak to a local Courier company or try www.wheelcourier.com (they are very good and don't just do wheels) I can't remember if they do international though.

Hi Dallas...

I think I'll have to try again then... :em: ...That said, as you say, the prices are still rather beyond what one might consider reasonable..

Maybe you need to find someone who already has a working account with a courier service where they've agreed a minimum spend each month. Then the cost of each parcel is considerably less due to the continued business the person/company is doing with the courier service.

Or at least thats the theory.... :gmc:
