I have been using the Meguiars car wash which usually leaves a nice finish. Having looked at a few other colours of our cars I was wondering if different paint finishes required different products.

My car has pearlescent finish.

Many thanks. :fosg:

I use the same polish on all colours, but always look better in dark colours.

I am using Meguiars nxt generation tech wax 2.0. It is easily available and affordable. It gives a better, wetter shine, but the protectant wears off in a couple months. All waxes require elbow grease, patience, and time.

I recently tried out Prima Banana Gloss on my Royal Blue 75 and the results are superb. Easy to apply - even in direct sunlight and easy to buff off. For dark colours I can't recommend it highly enough. Only issue is that it doesn't last long. 30 - 60 days depending on your wash regime; but when it's as easy to apply and get a brilliant result, who cares?
