Broken rear coil spring by Mintman

Just passed by last week in the garage to have a quick oil change and an adjustment of the handbrake, they noticed that car was slightly bend sideways.

Inspection : Result: A rear spring coil was broken half in the last lower circle which sitts on the spring retaining
dish so you nearly couldn't notice it neither by eye nor by driving.

So no problem i thought ordering through Xpart.Out of stock  (heavy duty ones for a tourer without self levelling suspension.)
So ringing up THE MgRover german expert.
Here's what i got: Lesjöfors swedish spring coils. a perfect match

If in need they are also UK based.

 I was a bit embarrassed to ask the cost. But that's great price.

Did you have the 40mm lowering springs?

As i got the "heavy duty " ones ( not the lowering ones) they are a bit more expensive : 110 £ pair.

Still a very good price Frank

Just check Rimmers and their a little bit dearer than what you paid.

Infact a bargain for the pair mate.

Thanks for the Link ;)
