Bricked my iPhone?? by baconbuttyman

Got this iphone the other day from an oc member, was restoring it this morning and it hung on this screen, it stayed that way for Hours, i am know nowt of these phones, is it dead or can it be revived. any help would be great, as i said, i know nowt about em'.

what you need to do is connect it back up to the computer and put it into DFU mode, this bypasses any errors and reinstalls the firmware.

It'll come up in iTunes as being in restore mode but the screen should be blank after putting it into DFU mode.

We get "bricked" iOS devices in the Apple shop I work in all the time and this fixes it 99% of the time.

ok, when i said i havent a clue on these it meant i dont even know what DFU mode was, how ever the link was spot on, but it wont even go into that, the button on the top doesnt seem to work. does nothing, nw the battery has drained and i am charging it up, wont even turn on with the front button

weyhey all sorted, after it running down the battery i reconnected it, pc found it an itunes recovered it, fantastic result
