Hi Bernard.
What we talked about at longbridge with regards to your overheating when you came from the Four Ashes on the 16-18th sept your quote below.

Just arrived home, journey not without incident as I had'nt noticed that the cooling fan was not running. After a time ticking over at a standstill it overheated. Half an hour waiting to cool down and the addition of some water got me home.[/quote]

Hi Bernard.
As promised photos of the fan and the controls boxes i have hope they help in some way, maybe a new thread may help as members whom are more up on the control boxes and fans can add there knowledge cheers Arctic steve.

That's great, thank you very much.
I will know more on Tuesday when I drag the bumper off and have a look.
I don't like signatures, they take up too much screen space.

No the V8. 2 speed but has been modified to single speed before I had it.

Well, the 2-speed motor has failed O/C :-x

So I'm looking for a 2-speed motor.
As before mentioned, the wiring has been modified to give a single speed only, so I really also need a loom and control box for the petrol 2-speed system.

Well not familiar with the V8 (cos I'm poor :D )
but what you need if you need a 2 speed petrol fan is this:

or this:

Neither are new and both will probably need an uprated resistor from jules :D

V8 is the same Dave and I'm poor since I bought it. ;)
I already have some of the resistors though.

Sod's law, I have a spare 3-speed that I re-brushed some time ago.

I'm also looking at a completely different solution which should be more reliable.
