anybody got any idea rover75 v6 auto i run the car everyday have checked the battery and alternator both working fine every 2 weeks go to start the car nothing when i turn the keys yet i have lights do you think i have a fault on the starter motor

if the headlights flash it is a sign of a flat battery, if there is no flashing and as you say the battery is fully charged then one known problem is the small wire that goes to the starter has corrosion on it, this can simply be removed, cleaned and replaced. The more common problem is the solenoid on the starter motor.
Starter motor lives under the air filter, it is removable without too much trouble and the solenoid kits are available via ebay for around £14 delivered, make sure you get the correct one for your engine / gearbox.

Here is Know how to on how to clean the contacts but in all honesty for the price of the replacement kit it is prudent to replace the parts as opposed cleaning the worn ones.
