Air vents operation by raistlin

Does the driver's side air vent need to be in a specific position prior to re-fitting the dash please?

Mine doesn't close fully since I re-fitted the dash. I was wondering if the operating lever had to be in a certain position?

Thanks
Paul

I've been doing some reading around the subject but, cannot find any reference to your problem. I can only suggest your release the dash in the appropriate place and manipulate the lever whilst it is out.
Can't be of any further help. :(

I think the best person to ask would be Dave (Mad Monkey) he helped fit my real wooden dash a few years ago and seemed to have the procedure of pat, as they say.

Cheers
